Spruce 6

Spruce 6 is a deceptive hole that greets you after the refreshment shack here on Spruce. Accuracy and precision are more important than power and distance. Off the tee, you will want to favour the right-hand side as the fairway does slope to the left. The approach shot is tough and deceiving, as you will most likely not have a flat lie. The green is much deeper than it appears from the fairway so choose your club carefully. Putting on this green is typical of IGC – tough and subtle breaks combined with a false front can lead to 3-putt quite easily.
