Hazelwood 3

Hazelwood 3 is the first par 5 on the Hazelwood side and is a three-shot hole for most players. A strong tee shot is required to get you to the top of the hill and in a good position for your approach. The layup area (around the 100-yard plate) is narrow and guarded by a large spruce tree that will block access to the green if your shot leaks too far to the right. The green is again quite large and protected by a bunker on the left. This hole offers a risk-reward for longer hitters willing to challenge the tight chute on their 2nd shot.
